Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Citizenship and Communities visits the offices of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools

On Tuesday, 31 January, the Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Citizenship and Communities and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs visited the offices of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools. During his visit, he discussed pressing issues relating to the health of the Community Languages in NSW.

Minister Dominello listened to concerns raised by the Committee members of the organisation. Some of the issues raised were: Access and use of Government school facilities and use of them, grants and awards.

The Minister talked about the benefits of multiculturalism and interculturalism in the community and the importance of language education.

Minister Dominello has been very active since being appointed as Minister for Citizenship and Communities. In that capacity, he has taken a keen interest in how communities engage with broader society to ensure that they contribute to the benefit of all.
